The Labyrinth Whispers

The Labyrinth Whispers is a movie about friendship and adventure. We follow this group of adventurers as they try to find the mysterious labyrinth making all sorts of memories along the way.
The script was written by my professor with the help of chat gpt. This was the first thing I was given for the project and from there I created this whole movie world of my own. From the beginning all I could think about was this being a very DND-like movie.
When it came to my mood board Studio Ghibli and various other anime movies were my inspiration on where I was wanting to go with the movie. Throughout the creation of this project I kept in mind three words friendship, adventurous, and whimsical.
The characters themselves somewhat differ from the script as I took some creative liberties when I was drawing them out. Some changes are little things like the clothes they wore and removing the beard from the dwarf.
When it came to the title sequence I chose not to use a font. I could not find one that embodied what I wanted so instead I hand drew the type. The background image was created using Adobe Firefly.
When it came to the props I thought about the tavern setting that they start off in. I thought what would be there. Tankards with drinks, A tavern sign swinging outside, a menu with that they could order, and the map that they had pulled out. For the menu I used chat gpt to create what was on it wanting a DND theme to it.
The very last of our projects was the poster. This is why I created all the characters. I wanted to show that I was going for an anime like film for this project plus I enjoy drawing characters in my free time. For the background I used Adobe Firefly and Adobe Photoshop.
